Anyone know if the new ventilated seats can be put in earlier 997's?
 

I have an 07 with power/heated seats, and the only thing of interest for me in the new car is actually the vented seats since it gets really hot in this part of SoCal and being somewhat bigger I'm noticing that I'm sweating quite a bit. Does anyone know if the new ventilated seats can be added into my car, and if so how much would it cost?

I would imagine they could very easily (I'm assuming the seat rails have not changed). The only harder part would be you would have to run the control wires via the relay/fuse box, and connect some control buttons somewhere. I'm not sure if the 997.2 seat fan buttons would fit into blank spots on the older model center consoles.

That said, I've not verified this in detail.. so its just an educated guess by an engineer.
