You and I have or had the same setup. Within 2 days of having this setup I got a warning on the noise. I live in Playa del Rey near the airport and I couldn't believe I got a warning when there is a 747-400 flying over your head. I put the AWE mufflers back on, but I miss that sound. I'm hoping that Borla or Afterhour mufflers will give me some of that back.

I don't find it as loud as some of you are describing. And I have headers too. It's loud, but not "everybody stop and look at me loud" during normal driving. 7K rpm at WOT is a bit on the cup car side, but partial throttle under 4K isn't much different (maybe 10-20% louder) from my CG mufflers. It's all about how you drive the car with BP's on on. Now if you're crazy enough to go WOT throttle by a cop then you get what you deserve

I'll probably keep my CG mufflers in the garage in case I grow out of this phase, but for now, I'm lovin' it! I feel like I'm at the track every time I start the car

BTW if I own a GT3 I would go with straight pipes without thinking. I have heard Fred's RS in person and it sounds amazing. No compare between them
Could the camera man have picked a worse place to shoot those??? Concrete walls and overpasses????

exactly its maybe 10-20% louder but at low RPM the BP is way louder. I can drive home without worrying about neighbors will complain, but wasn't same case with BP. bottom line:
CG: 1000-3000 RPM is like PSE 3500-7000RPM is almost bypass pipes.
BP: overall not louder than murci and sound more like a race car.

That sounds great! It actually isn't as loud as i thought it would be. My set up is louder. I will post pics soon with extensive videos showing the LWFW effects drive by sounds etc. I just got a new 08' motor so am trying to rack up some miles b4 hammering it. Enjoy and keep it as it is.... amazing!

I'm not really sure but I think straight pipes sound more high pitched vs the low growl of the bypass. Also I just got some new GMG tips that look amazing I'll post a pic laters.

Oh and by the way you should post a video of your car. I'm sure those straight pipes sound amazing.

Like stated before. This video does not do the sound ANY JUSTICE!

It sounds 10 time better. It basically a cup car on the streets.

It completes the aggressive look of gomez car, especially with it being all black!

It really puts a smile on Pcar nerds faces like us ..... i'm not sure what kind of face "normal" people make after they hear it wiz by them in traffic
