(Video) AWE headers and cats with Fabspeed Muffler bypass

I'm going to put the AWE mufflers back on since I still have to use this car as my daily driver but I'm going to take some video to document the insane sounds. Here is the first one and I'll post some more interesting video in next day or so.

I agree. It's too loud for normal daily use. I love zooming around on weekends in it though. Nothing sounds better than when decelerating with by pass pipes.

I helped Gomez put these on. I had them on my car for 2 weeks and it was awesome but too much as its my daily driver and I have to take/make a lot of business calls in the car.

I had stock headers and cats, and it was loud..... on gomez car they are insane.. BUT A GOOD INSANE!

They sound awesome and the weight saving are great for the track .... I would have definitely left them on if my car was not a DD or if i had a 2nd car.

BTW, the video does not do the sound justice. Take what you hear ... multiply by 10 and then you are closer to what they really sound like.

That's subjective. I have the CG mufflers too. I prefer the bypasses. And the CG's are no where near as loud as the BP pipes although they do sound very good. Again with the disclaimer that the BP's would not be appropriate for a daily driver.

I agree with you, the BP are way louder specially if you compare both alone without headers and cats, but what i like about the set up I have is it's not that loud when I'm not on it and it screams once you push the gas pedals. People always tell me your car is really loud but I still can talk by the phone.

What I didn't like about the BP
1) it sound stupid in low speed (4mph or less) specially when you stop and move like in parking lot
2) I'm not sure if it's only my car but some component inside the cabin start to produce sound due to vibration which bothers me a lot.

what I liked:
1) the sound after 4000 RPM
2) the first moment after I starts the engine

hope that makes it clear

--- Abdullah

BTW if I own a GT3 I would go with straight pipes without thinking. I have heard Fred's RS in person and it sounds amazing. No compare between them

video does not do the sound justice. it is beyond loud in real life.
