Exhaust tips for 08 997

Can you put these exhaust tips on an 08 997 (non S model)? I have Fabspeed bypass pipes and have the stock oval single large outlet on each side. I want two separate tips on each side like these S models in the pics. Can this be done?

Yes you need a spacer since your standard exhaust tubing is smaller diameter thant the S.
Contact Fabspeed for some really well built and good looking tips.

I checked out their website, there like $900 for tips?!?! crazy if you ask me. I know nothing is cheap on a porsche, but I think I might just have them made locally, they are simply cosmetic, right?

I have a set of used stainless steel Fabspeed quad tips that I would be willing to part with. $450 new, PM me an offer, I'm switching to ceramic coated tips to match my black wheels.

why dont you just ceramic coat the current tips, if I purchased yours, I would be doing the same... BTW, which tips are you going to be getting then?

I'm going with the stock ceramic coated quad tips.

I could get these Fabspeed tips ceramic coated for you, PM me if you're serious about it.

Here's the closest thing I can come up with for now. I can always take a shot for you when I get home.

Nice HRE's Pnutty. I almost went with the Eibach springs (IMO if you go the springs route that would be a good choice). I decided to wait and see if I can get a deal on some Damptronics which is the more expensive but probably a better fit for me long term.

Anyone want to sell me their Damptronics?

Those GMG's tips are nice but they sound expensive... how much for a set?

Pnutty, when you say "ceramic coated" would you please clarify what or who does that? Is it the same as Jet-hot coating? http://www.jet-hot.com/headercoatings.html
Thanks

I think ceramic coating is the same process as powdercoating but with a ceramic based paint... it withstands a MUCH higher temp then regular powdercoating and provides a much tougher shell.
