That is really a beautiful set up. Almost turbo. I like the lights in the grill and the head lights look super.

Dr. T Sep 29, 2004 01:03 AM

Wow, much better than the 997. What the hell are they thinking?

TT Surgeon Sep 29, 2004 01:16 AM

I like it much better, even the headlights look better than the retro round ones on the 997.

pleasant looking, but don't know if i like it better than the 997.
i think it's just personal subjective taste.
I like them all. .....

Hehe, yea I do kinda like the CHICKSTER's front end.... Not sure I love either, but I think the 997 still has a nicer look....

Looks good. There was probably a debate inside P about where to put the turn-signal lights. They made both camps happy by using both designs.

The 997 is actually truer to the original 911 look. The Boxster is more mini-CGT, which I think is okay.

vipertestarossa Sep 29, 2004 02:56 AM

That nose is Sweet! Very CGTish

The last picture from that series.. Those and alot of other pictures are up at www.porscheboxster.info, though the Cobalt pictures are by far my favorite!

Chronos Sep 29, 2004 03:47 AM

I thought Porsche should have gone towards the CGT look; look forward rather than behind.

IMHO this should have been the 997 front end. I agree it is all subjective- just my $.02

msindi Sep 29, 2004 05:00 AM

I do not think the rea is a big departure from the current Boxster...could have done better IMO to differentiate the two generations

Wheel Experts Sep 29, 2004 06:52 AM

the new boxster is pretty sweet IMHO

JASCLASS Sep 29, 2004 08:23 AM

Looks nice.

20C4S Sep 29, 2004 09:15 AM

i still think the lines are weak on the car... need the aerokit badly. that's not a good sign.
