I'm looking for the manufactured date sticker on my 2008 C2. See attached example.

Reason I'd like to know is I bought the car in Nov 08 and it was registered in May 08, but the paperwork I got with it says build date of Feb 11th. The VIN only tells me it's an 08 build.

its in the drivers door jamb.

there is no contradiction in your info. it was built in feb, titled in may, and you bought it in nov.

 

There is no sticker like this in my door jam. By law in Australia a car must be marked with it's month and year of manufacturer. Maybe that's a US marking only.

And I know there is no contradiction. Thanks for stating the obvious.

 

All Porsches have this sticker on the driver's side.
Did you buy it new or used?
If you bought it used, the previous owner must've removed it.
Try checking rubber seals on doors they usually carry the build date too.

 

I bought it as a demo from the only Porsche dealer here. I'll do some more digging. Thanks for the help.
