Misha's Custom Spoiler

Well, I wanted to have a spoiler that complemented the GT3 front for my 997S. I like the GT3 base of the Aerokit, but did not like the big wing look. I contacted Misha for a one-off custom spoiler for my S. I think it flows well with the overall silhouette of the car. Finally finished and installed it this AM. These are preliminary pix:

It's cute, but Porsche knows best. If you have the GT3 front end, the bigger wing would probably balance the down force better.

how about a photo showing the whole car from the side? looks cool but let's get the whole picture!

Nice retro look to the 997. Reminiscent to the "ducktail" of days past.....

Thats pretty cool. I've been dying to do something similair but where the lips extand out to the ends of the tail lights. Kind of like ruf does on the rt-12 with without a spoiler on top

Kinda looks like the Duckbill spoiler MA Shaws sells

Well done

A guy with little experience (no offense but your not a wing expert) designing wings come out with one that looks better then most wings out there.... Nice job. Very unique, not over the top, substantial for its smaller size (the small techart wing to small) nice detail with the ducts etc...a light duck style..... Great job, very nice... Few more pics would be great....if $$$ was no object would have a long narrow center brake light (red lens) integrated into the back of the wing. Regardless amazing job, thanks again for the pics....

I contacted a few wing fabricators asking about the one off design of a 993TT wing (or if I bought a 993TT rear deck lid and wing + fabrication) that would fit my 997 and just couldn't get it done. I truly believe a wing that looked similar to a 993TT wing would look amazing on a 997...(with some nip and tucking) Such a retro wing with 993 style combined with the 997's 05+ back to round head lamps look would be perfect IMO, get a set of 19' Fuchs and game over.

Mick,

I agree with you 100%. I love the 993 wings and it would look fantastic on the 997 as you've mentioned. Thanks for the kind words, but I would say that your 997TT wings on a 997 is quite unique in it self as well. You did inspire me to consider the 997TT wings, but after what I saw you had to go through, I had to rethink about my next spoiler :).

I would love to have a center brake light imbedded in the spoiler itself, but cost was an issue as you've noticed.

I would have to give most of the credit to Misha for willing to take a chance with my idea and do a one-off custom spoiler. Very pleased with the outcome.

Thanks again.
