Tire Question
Tire Question
I was thinking of purchasing a set of the new Bridgestone RE-11's for track weekends (I drive my car to the events and don't want to mess with R comps). However, I noticed the 305/30/19's are only available with a load rating of 98, whereas the OEM tires are 100. The load rating difference between a 98 and 100 is about 100 lbs.
Does anyone have any thoughts? These look like great tires. I was considering the new Yokohama Advan AD08's, but they won't be available for another couple of months, and my first DE of the year is in 4 weeks. I've been using Pirelli P-Zero Rosso's, but I'm at the wear bars on the rears.
By the way, I did drop some weight from the rear by using Fabspeed mufflers and sport cats...

I track at Sebring. I can do around 6-8 2 day events. Street miles would be around 1200-1600.
