I do have another noob question though.
i looked around on the forum didnt seem to find the post, even tho i believe is did see it a couple weeks ago. the post about what test and what i should look for when seeing the car in person.
can some please tell me or just direct me to the post.
Now that's a good question that may got get much attention because it's stuck in the " is this a good price " question. I would suggest you get the car inspected by a pro you trust brfore you buy it. If you're buying from a Porsche dealer get the CPO. It's a multi-point inspect that includes a warranty for X number of years/miles, others here will know how many of both. Will increase the price of the car $ 2-3,000 but many would say it's worth it. You can get some good info by running a CARFAX on it, number of owners, major accidents and repairs and the like. Overall, major issues with '06's were less numerous than the '05 so your $$'s ahead with the '06. It also should still be under warrantty by Porsche for 2 more years so I'd make sure all the services were up to date. The 30 k service is coming up so it would be a good idea to have that done fairly soon. As it includes a number of checks on a goodly number of items it will be another source of information relative to the overall condition of the car. And that's just the stuff I can think of. Lot's of folks here more knowledgeable that I in this area so if you don't get any other responses re-post your question in a new post. Oh, and make sure you say you did the search already and were looking for additional info. Keeps the regulars off guard when you do that.

I found price discovery is one of the best things about this forum. I saved approx 10k on my first Porsche with help of the members here becasue I was informed.
Collectively the members here provide up to date market conditions and help new members in their search for their dream. They inturn will help others, pay it forward IMHO.
