Burning plastic smell from wheel well

Over the last few days, I've been getting the smell of hot burning plastic wafting from the driver's side rear wheel.

I opened the engine compartment, and I can't smell anything at all. So it's all from the wheel well.

I took off the wheel, and all of the brake sensor wiress are tied back and nothing looks out of place, nothing seen resting on the brake or rotor, etc.

I was really smelling up the whole garage the other day. I drove the car on a rally today for about 3 hours to and from, and it's still smelling, after smelling on Friday and Saturday.

Can anyone suggest anything to look at?

yeah, check your tire, the wheelwell inside and outside edges and suspension pieces and see if you are not rubbing somewhere...then check the exhaust and make sure you are not melting the rear bumper
