OK so I finally found something I don't like about my 997.2
damn rear view mirror vibrates badly at 4000 RPM and above - can't see behind me for cop cars.
Any fixes? |
I would bring it in to the dealer, perhaps there is some thing loose (other the nut behind the wheel;))

Yep...have the dealer look at it. Mine is steady as can be......
|
Go faster until it smooths out?
|
Thought you were gonna stay its impossible to sleep in. Really, what's behind you is not important.
|
+1 Have the dealer look at it. My mirror is also stiff, so once its set - sticks in place.
|
+1 I'd get the dealer to look at it. Mine doesn't vibrate and is so stiff it is actually hard to adjust. Maybe the mirror shake is just a symptom of something like an out of balance wheel or flat spotted tire? |
You have a balance issue. Start with wheel balance and go from there.

Any fixes? If it is spreed independent and only happens at high RPMs - hmm... |
I haven't noticed any vibration as yet. Doh, now I'll probably be looking for it!

I know it's OT, but, Sezme, your .2 triple black Cab looks very, very menacing and very, very cool.

I can't believe I can't type the name of a bug without getting censored!
