Champion Motorsport's NEW PDK paddle shifters

Don't be left without a paddle.

As you might have seen on a thread started earlier by RennsportOne, we at Champion Motorsport have completed testing and have units ready for shipping / installation. Our paddle shifters replaces those boring push buttons that just aren't very exciting. The kit consists of all custom machined aluminum components and are available in both anodized black and anodized clear (silver).

Through countless hours of research and development, we actually developed our own test tool. This is so that each wheel that is retrofitted can be tested prior to shipping or installation.

Feel free to contact us if you have any further questions.

This is going to be a super hot seller for those with PDK. Great job guys,

Bara Sep 21, 2009 06:36 PM

very nice.

1. now that this hurdle is out of the way, how does the pdk compare to the ferrari f1 trans.

2. is porsche working on a similar solution?

- installation info?
- does it retain the hold for multi-shift feature?
- do the button "fillers" do anything or just decorative/rigid?

*Installation has to be done @ Champion Motorsport ( even if you buy through their dealer network)
*The "filler" buttons as your referred to them as are decorative and are extremly rigid. When you see this system in person, most would think they are OEM.

I'm getting it . Just a quick question . Will it rev match the downshifts like the current button config by holding in the downshift paddle on hard braking?

When will you have your car with this upgrade?

All factory functions remain. The only difference, is that instead of having the factory buttons, you have paddles with downshift on one side and upshift on the other. The vehicle in the video was just not driven very hard and with Sport Plus mode off. We will be filming a video shrotly with the Sport PLus mode engaged and a little harder driving.

Wow... that's amazing. These will fly off the shelves.

Don't the 2011 models have paddle shifters as an option?

Love the idea and the effort but these are way to thin and look like plastic :( Need to be a little larger and finished in something other than a flat black....

my .02

May or may not be expensive to each his own but lets please keep this thread clean and leave this to another topic
