Well, looks close between the 2 of you. Two great cars, having a fun time. Looks good to me.

On that course, it looks more like a driver vs driver, not car vs car.

Was the PDK awd?

I was totally confused by the title of this thread. Does the Targa 4S have PDK too, or is it a 6-speed? Title should have said something like "C2S with PDK vs T4S with 6-spd".
Regardless of how the Targa was configured, I think it is interesting that there was no noticeable difference in them, despite the fact that so many people here think the Targa would be at a huge disadvantage with its extra weight "in the wrong place". It demonstrates the difference between theory and reality when it comes to weight in anything but the most competitive track situations with the best driving skills.

Ken, you sold yours, you can cancel your membership to the Targa fan club now!

I think that this is a driver issue, the PDK car made up a lot of ground on the straight away, but seemed to cautious in the corners.

Ed: I'll remain a Targa fan even though I sold mine. I just happen to like cabs more for this great climate area. I'll miss the extra rear storage space and rear hatch access, which helped a lot in my recent house move. I even managed to get all 4 spare rims in the car at once: 2 in the back, 1 on passenger seat, and one on floor in front of passenger seat. I agree with your comments re driver skills being most relevant. I see that at autocross events, where good drivers in old Miatas, Corvettes, and old SC's clean the clocks of people with TT's, GT3's, PDK's, etc. Of course, proper tires make a huge difference too. See you next week in Van (unless I have to go pick up another Porsche somewhere in the country).

Just busting your chops!

Hopefully we can get together, but if not it is for a good reason.

Yeah, I know usually I save it for Stacy. I didn't see him this morning on the forum, so you were next in line today!
