What are your favorite HRE's, cost no factor?
If cost were not an object, but the wheels had to be HRE's, what would you choose for a black 997.1? Post pics if you can.

I like 840Rs.
FYI, not my picture, all rights reserved to the photographer. |
Well, if price was not a factor, CF40's.
Price being a factor (which it was in my case), P40's in brushed (see my avatar for pic). |
I also like the CF 40's . Less expensive and if the car has an aerokit I like the Comp series.
|
My current favorite HREs are P43 Monoblocks in black.
|
My personal favorite is the 590R model :D

I love the comp series, the wheels make your car feel like you had weights on your car before....

Love the HRE 547R and 597R
|
the CF is cool but i saw a set that was on a car less than 2 years and they were totally shot.
looked like the final coat was peeling off the carbon fiber barrels, they were dymags and dymag would not warranty it. Wanted customer to pay. Dymag makes the CF for HRE so better find out what their warranty is. |

...of course with the proliferance of german car brake dust, black wheels may have a slight advantage...:) |

I vote for JoeShark's P40's. I just don't get black wheels... why pay for detail that you can't see...
