Sloancars
Can anyone comment on experiences they've had with Sloancars in New Haven, CT? Good or bad, I'd really like to hear them.
Thanks! |
looked @ them when I was lookin for my 993 cab. They didny have what I was lookin for so I went to Holt Motorsports. I think both of these places you cant go wrong. I think Sloan is high , but you get what you pay for! What r u thinkin of getting?

Sloancars
He has a 996 TT listed that a friend turned me on to. However, I think it may already be gone.

i think he has real clean cars........that was what i meant with the comment. You lookin for a 996 only??? |
He is very selective with cars he takes in or consigns. The cars he has usually have no stories, have low mileage and are rare or limited production (or a combination of some of these). Like Jim said, you get what you pay for, but I would not hessitate in purchasing a car from him. I have spoken to him several times and he seems like a stand up guy that knows his stuff.

Holy smokes, Sloan and Holt are top shelf!

Sloancars 993 game is the best in the country
His 993 air cooled game is the best in the country.... He has three 993 twin turbo-s with super low miles .. Crazy

Hmm, interesting first post by a brand new member. Care to provide us with any specific details (that can be confirmed) or perhaps are you just flaming the competition?

I have not visited Sloan but from their website it seems they have some really special car. Willhoit is another. I have vuisite Holt a few times. His hav what I would consider "normal low miles". That is, roughly 3 to 5 thousand miles per year old. The cars are often not cosmetically perfect but in very good condition. I would not hesitate to buy from Holt.
I agree. A first post with a statement like that about Sloan raises questions about the poster. |
Two year old post. WTF. aweb108 dug it up 3 months ago and now Taxi! puts the the thread back into play. Weird that a aircooled specialist is even discussed on this forum.
