997.2 Aftermarket wing

Thinking of adding a wing to my '09 997.2 S coupe.
Was looking at nr autos Type III bolt on or their carrera wing(has brake light included). Anybody have any experience with company or either wing. Both have wire harness so I assume the stock spoiler is disconnected and won't automatically go up. Thanks in advance.

It does looks nice...
I would check with Porsche first. I recall something in the manual related to not driving the car if it's too hot and the wing is not coming up. I'm a firm believer if the stealership has the opportunity to s*** you on warranty issues, they will. In reality, unless one lives in the desert or forgets to change gears, it shouldn't matter...
Extract from the manual:

"Automatic mode

The limits for automatic extension and retraction
of the spoiler depend on various circumstances
(e.g. driving speed, engine compartment temperature).
If automatic control fails, a warning message is
displayed by the on-board computer.
Engine compartment temperature
under 122 °F/55 °C

Spoiler extends at 75 mph/120 km/h and
retracts at 37 mph/60 km/h.
Engine compartment temperature
over 140 °F/60 °C
Spoiler extends at 50 mph/80 km/h and retracts
at 19 mph/30 km/h."

John I hope not, I want the dealer to install it. Don't they have to flash the ECU so it won't throw a code when the spoiler doesn't raise? The wing comes with a wiring harness, guess for the brake light.

IMHO installing rear wing with stock front bumper in place may (will?) upset the cars` balance. It does make sense perhaps to do aerokit - GT3 front bumper and wing as in this case you compensate front and rear downforces. But I am just not a pro-wing person anyway.

Was considering the GT3 bumper..think it looks aggressive and adds front esthetics.

I actually like the new Aerokit Cup for the 997.2 models.
