I have a 2009 C4S with Tubi exhaust. Will this package bolt directly to my setup?

I have an 09 w/ PSE. Can I add the center muffler bypass w/o the headers? Will it improve the sound? Is FVD planning on offering exhaust tips for the PSE to replace the rather unattractive stock issue?

I should have a video in the next few weeks, we just shipped a system out to a customer in the U.S. on Monday. As soon as I have something I will post it for you.

Yes it will. The cat ends can fit using the stock sleeves (part # 997 111 220 30), that stock sleeve fits both the PSE and the stock muffler. So the tubi’s will work. I am not sure of the power with the tubi’s though. I will try to get more info for you.

DaveC, This set up eliminates the center muffler. Do you mean the cats? The headers and cats will improve the sound for sure. We have tips for our full systems that are larger diameter, let me check what we can offer you for the stock tip replacement.

Does the system come in Titanium? If so how much more does it cost?

Is there any advantages to your power kit vs. the Techart power kit?

The reason I ask is that I am looking at both kits and would like to know what the differences are, if any. I have a Tubi exhaust and would like to know how it would work with the FVD headers and sport cats. Would it be louder then the FVD exhaust? Would the horsepower gains be less with the Tubi exhaust? Does anyone foresee any issues with the FVD headers & sport cats connected to a Tubi Exhaust? I would appreciate any feedback

eathvy,

We can make it in titanium if you would like but we use extremely high quality titanium which is very costly.

Can't speak for the Techart kit but $$ maybe a difference.

As I mentioned above, yes it will. The cat ends can fit using the stock sleeves (part # 997 111 220 30), that stock sleeve fits both the PSE and the stock muffler. So the tubi’s will work. I am not sure of the power with the tubi’s though.

Think of it this way, mufflers on any N/A porsche give you minimal Hp. Either way the headers and cats will give you power.

Thanks,
Rhonda

Sorry for all the questions, new to this. What is the difference between the 100 cell cats vs. the 200 cell cats?

Rhonda,

Does FVD guarantee no CEL with the installation of this system assuming the vehicle is equipped with the stock mufflers (tubi, or CG for that matter)?

Thanks

Eathvy,

Don’t apologize, you are learning, nothing wrong with that. I will apologize though for my late response.

Install should run 4 hours or so.

100 cell are 100 cells per square inch, versus 200 cells per square inch. See below. 100 cell will flow more freely and will produce a slight Hp advantage. However, 100 cell will trigger the check engine light, won’t pass emissions and will typically require O2 sensor extensions or a software program, whereas the 200’s will not trigger the CEL and will pass emissions testing.

100 cell

200 cell

Hope that helps,
Rhonda

Yes, absolutely. M&M only use the highest quality HJS Tri-metal cats, they will not trigger the check engine light.

Thanks,
Rhonda
