center exhaust question????????? easy or not?

I have read a thread of this project being a bit of a nightmare with bad fabspeed parts etc....and another where someone added a gt3 rear bumper and simply had a skilled muffler shop route the exhaust through the mid and poof done. Is this an easy mod? for 997.1. Thanks

Staff@RPM is infamous around these parts
We have done it with a GT3 rear bumper and GMG makes an awesome sounding center exit exhaust. It was probably the best sound 997 that I have ever heard, I highly recommend it.

I'm the one who had the problem with Fabspeed claiming their system would bolt right up to the stock exhaust which it did not. It is actually easy to do if you don't mind cutting the outlet pipes on your mufflers (I did so myself and then just had a muffler shop weld some pipes to the center.) It is much less expensive than changing out the exhaust completely for a center exit setup.

Mick, any good muffler shop should be able to do this for you.
