Hello,

I have friends that are currently on vacation in Miami and have a chance to pick up an aftermaket exhaust for a 997 Carrera S. I emailed ASR engineering and they told me they have none in stock. Would anyone know of a person or shop in or near the Miami FL area selling a new or used aftermarket exhaust system for a 997s?

champion is down there..google champion motor sports...they sell pse, tubi and...

 

Called champion, All they have is the TUbi System for the 997s for 2,500 dollars.

Im looking something more in the price range of 1000. or somehting used.

vertex sells a cheap aftermarket exhaust, not sure how it sounds or how good it is though.

just do a search for gundo hack if you dont want to spend $$$

 

well I figured something like the agency power exhaust or something used.

 

Called vertex, they dont sell an exhaust for the 997s. Is there anybody else?

Maybe you ought to ask the site sponsors who they recommend -->
It would not be a fun vacation to bargain shop an exhaust and drive home hearing drone or having the car not be the way you'd want.

 

i got cheap on my 2002 boxster s...i bought a used GHL exhaust...regretted it the whole time
im sticking with pse...great sound, stock, warranty and can be turned on and off

For $1k it is really hard to find decent mufflers...

 

how much is everyone paying to have pse installed? $3500 ?

 

I would rather have AWE Cats installed for half the price

 

Rennsport 1 is a good shop. I believe they're closer to Lauderdale.

But if your budget is only $1K, you have slim pickins.
