new rig for me
new rig for me
Hey all - i moved from my 2007 into a 2009 PDK Carrera S and wanted to share. i picked up the car with the help of my dealer (Barrier) here in Seattle. it had 1800 mi, and CPO. Great car, good price, great build for me. many, many thanks to the team at barrier that really made this easy and fun. it's the first car i bought from them and probably the first of many.
It's a Carrera S, Black on Black, PCCBs, Sport Bucket seats. i also put on the paddle steering wheel yesterday. For me, it's the perfect blend to have a car that I can use as a DD, tote the kids, and go to the track and pound on and, that gets into my garage without breaking off the nose.
i'm still not sure if i like the decals or if they'll stay. feedback welcome. they seem to grow on people and look better in person, but i'm going to decide after a few weeks...
looking forward to a great summer driving it like i stole it

as soon a physically possible. i need to update the front brake ducts (very small difference from stock) and then i'll be down at pacific raceways.
i'm also researching which pads to use - if it's cool, i should have zero issues with the stock.
of course, when you're down this way, we'll coordinate some antics.

Very nice setup. I had decals on mine and had the dealer removed them for me. I'm jealous, I love the PDK when I test drove one.

Sweet looking car. Love the sport seats and the yellow belts matching the PCCBs. I would recommend getting rid of the decals though.
Was your 2007 an S or non-S and was it manual or tiptronic? If it was a manual, how do you like the PDK vs the manual?

Great combo! I'd vote for removing the decals. The car is very understated and formal looking (black/black) but the decals seem to distract from the overall look. Good luck keeping it looking clean!!!
BTW, opinions around here differ, but I'd recommend a clear bra as soon as possible.
