What is a Good Price for getting parts repainted

Hello all,

I just would like to make sure I am in the right price range. I have a OEM GT3 bumper and wing with the lid to be painted white. The parts are painted a different color, so that would have to be remove. Bumper is in great conidition. Not a mark on it. What is the price I should be getting quoted? One place told me $3000. I thought that was high. I was thinking more like 1,000 to 1500. What do you guys think?

I own a bodyshop and the first price is a high, to remove the orig. paint and repaint a bumper and wing would be 1700 by me. That is using porsche paint obviously

pureretro is infamous around these parts
Here are some prices from reputable SF Bay Area shops for the work done on my cars:

Complete front bumper fill/repaint and RS Splitters on my 993: $1200 (original bumper, but splitters had to be primed)

Techart Side Skirts paint and install on 997 (repainted from silver): $625

RS Splitters only on 993 paint and install (original set from years ago): $700

The quote I have received to paint and install an 993 RS (aftermarket) tail is about $1200.

Again, all prices from the upper echelon of Bay Area body shops.
