Luck comes in 3's

1) Yesterday: drill bit in my right rear tire on 997. limped to local station and got a patch.

2) Today: scissors in my right rear tire on 997. limped to local station and needed to be picked up while I'm still waiting for a patch.

3) Today: went to drive my '87 Targa...dead battery.

Well at least the 3 are done now. Good luck to you!

the drill bit wasn't too close to the sidewall making it irrepairable. :o

I had a flat tire a few weeks ago, full deflation in only a few seconds. I rolled it slowly to the garage down the street, and they told me that they didn't think it could be fixed (I will take it to my regular tire guy) even though it was in the middle of the tire. The good news was he had a 90% PS2N1 that was sitting in his shop that he sold to me for $150 (as apposed to the bandit that was selling a new one for over $700 because it was the last one in town with a N1).

I am waiting for the other 2 things to happen.

Well, just found out the scissors irreparably damaged the tire. Don't recall what tires I have on the car at the moment, but the shop said they'd be 7-10 days out, and of couse are $575 per tire (b4 discount).

I just bought a new tire about 2K miles ago since my car was delivered with a damaged tire.

So it goes.

That sucks! Sorry to hear the bad news.

Nowhere to go but up now!

Maybe it's time to pick up a wheel and tire warranty for $400-600. Mine paid for itself 5x over within the first 2 months :o

Mh lets see.

I had a big screw in my right rear tire (could be fixed) and a day later my PCM/Bose didnt make any sound....waiting for number 3 hilarious

Ummmm....

...stay in bed and pull the covers over your head? Sorry to hear. That had to be very frustrating.
