It has been posted somewhere here on 6SPEED that the concave and super concave wheels are not light weight......
I was told that they are a bit heavier than the 3pce I already have,BUT because I am JUST a "Boulevard cruiser"...it will not affect the performance related to my driving style on the street.Driving on the street,there are too many other variables(dirt,dust,other cars...ETC) to be worried about the power loss and cornering that rotating mass may cause,IMO.
On my NSX years back,the car had over-sized wheels(19 ans 20's).....I had the car dyno'd and the shop asked IF they could see that that extra weight translated into power loss........if my memory serves me correctly it was 11 rwhp.
So,IMO....not enough loss to stop me from getting the wheel style I want.
NOW if I was a track Rat,I would opt for something in a smaller size and light-weight!

Thanks for weighing those factory wheels......
Carrera Classic wheels(19") with tires...
Fronts....45.6 lbs
Rears.....53.6 lbs
I will update the first post ONCE I get all the wheels weights.....
