Guard's Red vs. Speedster Blue
 

I should have my Wheel Dynamics 808's installed sometime this week :)

I also have a 911 rear badge on order...

When I get the badge, I was thinking about having the badge and my calipers painted: Guard's Red or Speedster Blue.

Black Carrera, Black Rims, Tinted Windows... just a little splash of color would go a long way.

I was going to go with Red until I remembered that the ZR1 has similar Speedster Blue calipers....

Opinions?

Red or yellow. NOT blue.

Even if unintentional, painted red calipers on a Carrera can come off as poser - same goes for yellow. Speedster Blue calipers would convey more of a custom look.
Based on that, I'd go with Blue.

Porsche doesn't make a blue caliper for the 997. I would either go red or yellow. It conveys the look as if it were stock and not a ricer.

You should do what personally appeals to your own sense of design and matches your taste in colors. Only you know what is right for you.

Opinions of forum members is novel but inappropriate for what you do with your own car.

Unless I had a Carrera S or PCCB I would avoid red or yellow so as not to come off as a poser.

Sounds like depending on what you choose, half will call you a poser and/or half will call you a ricer. :) Just do what you like.

Go with a color that isn't already used. Be original.

Red is so classic. Either red or some off the wall choice.
