Happy New Year everyone!
I want to thank the 6speedonline community for helping me sell my garage full of spare parts so quickly and easily! I was able to recover a decent amount of my losses following the trade from my '06 997S to the '10 C4S in November. I should have known that the majority of the parts I had acquired would not fit the new car. So again, THANK YOU!!! As promised to a few of you, here she is. 2010 997.2 C4S (Arctic Silver/Black), and thanks to Champion, delivered to me with:

The seats? They are absolutely fantastic! Are they for everyone? No. The posture is upright with no adjustment, and there are no power or heating options. HOWEVER, they are so stinking cool!!! This car is not my daily driver by any stretch, but I did drive the car a couple of weeks ago for 4 hours straight, and I loved every second. Would I do it everyday, uhhhh...no. ;) The seats remind me of my '94 Speedster which I miss to death with it's fixed back hardshell Recaro's, and this car with the seats seems to have pacified that thurst (for me anyway). The quality is top notch, and the carbon and alcantara is so cool with the addition of the manual pull straps on the side. To me, they are race seats that hold you nice and tight with the functionality of allowing my small children to hop in the back jumpers. Oh, and my wife loves them, so I guess that should have been answer # 1. :D For reference, I'm 6', 215, 34" waiste (mostly in the shoulders, not mid section or rear-end as much). Starting to feel like I'm answering a personal's ad...sorry! Anyway, for the big guys on here who are on up there in the belt/pant size (referring to myself as well up until about 9 months ago), or those who have hip/knee problems, the fit may be rather tight getting into and out of the seats. Just more incentive for me to stay in the gym, at least while my joints still work! |
Very...
...nice... Congrats !

jjc4scab: I'm right with you as far as doing the coilovers. In fact, I had to sell my KW's for my 2006 in hopes of replacing with a set to fit the C4S, but no luck due to $$$. I just couldn't make it happen, but so far, I'm real happy with the stance. Coming from an aero equipped 997 with H&R's that liked to scrape on nearly everything, it's a nice relief... for the moment. hilarious Happy New Year everybody!!! |
