Turbo S
That is simply staggering acceleration. I can only imagine it feels like taking off on a roller coaster. Wow.
The Noble is a bit quicker it seems but does zero for me in every respect. I'd have the Turbo any day.

I guess there are idiots everywhere, please don't fall into the trap of believing one. Next up, the ZR-1 against the Carrera S (because the Carrera S doesn't come in PDK anymore).
(please disregard that last statement - but it is just as accurate as the GT-R not having launch control).
I respectfully disagree, and will take any slower GT3 or RS over this Turbo S.
Tim you got me with the GT3. My apologies. What I really wanted was to address regular turbo owners or below. LOL – “Regular Turbo Owners” I never thought those words would come out of my mouth.
Not a very smart comment on these forums. You should know better how this will end up.
I don't think that's true for the 0-60 pulls. No way you can beat PDK with a non-PDK car. Yes, above 60 mph you are right. A 997.1 TT can easily do 800 hp and there's no proof yet that the .2 DFI engine is so easily tweaked or handle the power.
I don't... and I don't. That's just me.
I don't know how anyone would think like this. But that's just me.
The LED lights SEEM to be flashing because of the shutter speed of the camcorder. They do NOT flash when you see them in real life with your own eyes.
this is me and my buddy few weeks ago, we passed a copper at 41`sec doing 310kmph, he briefly turned on his lights then off as i looked in the rear view mirror lols http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=49GJ3z7WQ0o

2) If you look here .. you'll see a lot of modded 997.1tt's as well as 996tt's way before the first 997.2tt is noted. https://www.6speedonline.com/forums/...mile-list.html
3) It may be possible to tune a 997.2tt to the higher Hp levels but it would not be a PDK car and if that's the case the older Gt1 platform has been tested more over time. One of the many challenges for the tuners with the 997.2tt is how to fuse the hp increase without ruining the transmission .
In the 997.1tt a stage 3 clutch is needed . Mine has one BTW.

That is insane. 314 kph = 195 mph.

I also like what appears to be a storm trooper helmet that disappears after a few seconds (launch control I am assuming). Looks like the force was with you!
lols yea... no thats the PSM it comes On once you get to Higher Speed
zookie -- thrilling video, thx for posting! i am curious if you find any turbo lag on this 997.2tt S? i've only driven a turbo once -- a 997.1tt -- and the lag was too much for my taste, but i'm wondering if there had been an improvement in that respect with the new model...
yrralis1 I strongly agree. You don’t need PDK to get good 0-60 numbers (it’s just easier with PDK, especially for the novice), but you will need a heavy duty transmission to hold additional HP. Manual has an advantage here on the HD part and it is also easier to beef up. If you know what you are doing you can match the 0-60 runs. My 997 is practically stock (it’s my first J), but it’s not my first sports car. I have had 700+ RWHP cars in the past and of course not Stock. I do like the new Turbo S and will probably lean toward it as my next Porsche.
