A GTR looks about the same and performs just as well for 1/6 the cost.

I have a buddy with one on order for Feb 2012 delivery. He's taking me along as a guest to the LFA driving course at Infineon Raceway in March.

I agree with the crowd. This car is way over priced and lacks the true "super" car performance for its cost, but lord knows it has an exhaust note that many cars can top and if I have boat loads of money which I'm sure most of the LFA owners do I would add one to my collection for sure. I mean why not?

To my untrained eyes, it looks just like a GTR. It may excite some teenagers who owns an Acura TSX-R or IS250 though.

Wow!! This is a tough crowd. That car is incredible, and not meant to be feasable; like alot of real supercars. The review on Top Gear UK said, "even at that incredibly high price, Lexus still loses 1000.00 per car sold". Sounds like a novely car, and if I had the money, and the time to enjoy it, I would buy one. Not to replace my beloved C2S, but as a novelty; Porsche, there is no replacement.

It looks like a decent enough car but for that price, they're insane. It's not the potential buyer's prb that they spent so much R&D to develop the thing so to price it so that they can try to be close to b/e is crazy for what you get in terms of performance, not to mention that there is little to no cache in the supercar class for Lexus.

It is a Japanese import dare I say “tuner car”. It was never designed to be a real car, more an exercise of what the company can do, much like the FXX, 599XX, and the 918 Spyder (before the decided to actually make it). It is severely limited in production run, and thus will become a collector’s item quite quickly. I do agree, the styling is a bit to import like but if the money is there I would get one.

I respect what Lexus has developed and appreciate that they have put something out there that is true performance. If my funds were unlimited I would love to add one to the stable...but I would still wait for it to depreciate by at lest 50% before pulling the trigger on a used one!

If you have troble telling a GT-R from an LFA, you'll probably have problems with the 911s...

I worked with a guy who was asking about buying one. After he found out the requirements he blew it off and bought a CGT and a 997 TT. He felt that Lexus had lost their minds on that vehicle.
