I don't know the car, but price seems OK. Nice options (2 tone leather). You might be able to negotiate it down a little, depending on how long it has been on the lot. But if it is what you are looking for (right options, color etc), don't lose it for a few thousand dollars. Good luck.

Ken

thank you for the reply,

edmunds is saying 57,000 would be the dealer wholesale price and manhiem has only had 6 cars similar in trim in the last 6 months. prices ranged from 53k - 60k.

however i would like to save as much as i can (no money left on the table kind of guy) what is a good counter offer to propose?

KBB trade-in value shows about $54,400 for a car like yours in my zip code (So Cal), so I would likely try an offer around $56.5 or 57k. But you're already pretty close so it may not be worth it. Also, the market may be different where the car is. Every sale is unique, so there is no single answer that can apply. You seem to have monitored pricing for a while, which is about all you can do. If you haven't made a counter, you don't have anything to lose by offering $56. The worst they can do is refuse, right? (if they refuse, and you don't think they have any other interested parties, you could say you want to sleep on it. They hate having you leave, so might counter again.)
