Comments from wet weather PCCB users needed please

I've read all the posts on PCCB's (track/non track/price to replace, etc etc).

In the posts I reviewed, there were some sporadic comments about performance concerns in wet weather.

I'm ready to finalize a build on a GTS and have PCCB's "in" right now. For those of you that have PCCB's and have extensive use in wet weather, I'ld appreciate any last minute thoughts before I lock in my configuration.

Thanks in advance for any and all replies.

No issues whatsoever with wet weather and PCCBs in my experience.

Living in Seattle I definitely have some experience with rain. :)

Congrats on the GTS - widebody RWD = awesome!

It really depends on how you plan on using your car. They are incredible in all conditions, the power, confidence, and pedal feeling is amazing. However, if you get bit by the track bug you may reconsider or options. I've heard of guys getting 80+ tracks out of them, which is amazing.

Daily trips to Starbucks = PCCB's

Monthly track or DE events = Steel

My experience is that they have issues, particularly on the highway in pouring rain. the first push on the brake is a little startling because nothing much happens for the first millisecond. After that it's fine. Otherwise they are amazing - and no brake dust!

I'd get them again.

Never had an issue driving in wet weather. Never noticed any degradation at all. The only time I've noticed a water issue is the first time I stop immediately after I wash the car/wheels. In normal use they are fine and you will LOVE not having to deal with brake dust.

No issues for me. Love em, so long brake dust!
