GT3 Cup Front spoiler lip long term damage to car

GT3 Cup Front spoiler lip long term damage to car
I have a GT3 Cup front spolier lip on my aerokit, and it rubs a lot. Other than damage to the actual lip, are there any other concerns on it making contact with the pavement?
I think that I might change to the standard GT3 spoiler lip as it looks smaller.

the oem GT3 lip is smaller...they are designed to come off before there is any other damage so I wouldn't worry about it if it is still intact
