Who the F is Cnet? LOL... They should stick with electronics reviews. What's next? Yelp review on Porsche?

 

I had the same reaction... CNET? Car reviews? The computer and camera business must be off in a big way!

 

Was there a review in there? Looked like infotainment to me.

 

lol, I thought they were going to review the PCM.

 

First GTS I've seen in yellow. Thought I'd like it better...maybe the JackA$$ driving it turned me off. At least he got a Porsche mechanic to talk it over and push it some on the road.

 

The "reviewer" is such an annoying loser. He thinks he is so cool calling some porsche owners tools. Like he is any better behind the wheels. Maybe he should stick to playing with his little iphone and leave the big boy toys to others.

 

That's 5 min I'll never get back.

I wonder what he drives? a Toyota Corolla? He keeps *****ing about price.. and the center painted console does not look cheap, and nor is it standard on a GTS. speed Yellow is awesome. A step up from his Rust Red Corolla. It also entertains me how he is wearing a gaudy purple shirt, and looks like a tool. Jealousy has no place in a review.

CNET should leave cars like this to real petrolheads.

 

The reviewer doesn't annoy me, and I appreciate his energy, but I think he just doesn't know enough about cars to be a car reviewer. Moreover, Porsche has never been about electronic "tech" and hopefully never will be.

 

When they spend more time on talking about the electronics...

The mechanic should have done the review.

 

I only watch the CNET reviews for the tech/infotainment stuff. The reviews are usually top notch...the reviewer is not a 'car guy'. He only cares that the Ipod controls are easy to use.

Give him a break on this one...there are bigger things to bit*h about in life

 

I kept thinking... "drive the damn car!!!"

I picture Jeremy Clarkson saying "Enough about the stereo. Watch when I do THIS!"

 

I think people's problem with him is that he spends an inordinate amount of time talking bad about items that he's not right about. If you're going to do a review of a product and make that review public, make negative comments about the product, then you should damn well better be correct in your statements.

This guy isn't. He seems to make disparaging comments for the sake of the attention it gets, and not because it serves a purpose of the review.

Clarkson might be very colorful and opinionated in his reviews, but I'm not sure I've ever seen him be outright WRONG in any of his facts. That's why he has such a large audience. As soon as this guy states something false, he's lost all credibility as an 'expert reviewer'.

We all need an outlet to ***** about something or other. It's much more healthy to do it on an internet forum than to let it out on my family...
