997.2 Carrera Cabriolet - Narrow Body with Wide Body Rear Rims & Tyres - Issues?

Sold the 2010 PTT couple of weeks back due to an irresistible offer. Regreted being Porsche-less again! Picked up a CPO 911 Carrera Cabriolet - always wanted one!

The dealer is having the tyres replaced free of cost to me. Initially I thought it had rear spacers. Upon close inspection I noticed the rear rims were just wider and the tire is 305. Apparently the previous owner purchased the wider set of wider rear rims/tires during one of the services.

I now have a choice to:

1. 295 tire size and keep the wide rims

2. 305 tire size and keep the wide rims

3. 295 tire & narrow rims (havent discussed this with dealer so not 100% sure if its possible to replace rims as well)

I do like the presence of the car with the wide rear setup although the wheels are sticking out a bit.

If there is no technical problem with this setup I would keep it the same.

Comments? Suggestions?

How far are the wheels sticking out? Can you post a few pics? Are these turbo wheels or pehaps the sport wheels that are wider and come with the 305's? Some tires have more square shoulders - perhaps you can put on a tire that is more rounded?
