Ginza Man will become famous soon enough
I see many votes for GT3. I have to agree.

Go for used GT3 and get a 2012 X3 Turbo. X3 is an awesome.

Have you considered buying your 997.2 off lease. I bet it's a great deal. For car 2, Audi S4 or Audi A6. Best of both worlds, 911 for sport, great sedan thereafter.

I own my 997 and lease S4. So most likely trading 997 for another sports car and leasing sedan. I have heard new XF-R is good, but im sure lease sucks.

I have exactly the same issues and came up with this solution.

'11 Carrera GTS for fun and '10 Panamera 4S for ski trips and hauling people and stuff. I use it as a station wagon - with a hatchback and the rear seats down it fits as much or more as my previous S4 Avant. I drive the GTS about 15K miles per year and the Panny about 12K.

I own the Panny and lease the GTS. Boy do I have car payments!

'11 GTS
'10 Panamera 4S

As others have mentioned, trackable car+SUV is an awesome combo. Right now though, I'm pretty satisfied with the combo of 997TT for DD duty and Exige for the track.

I have my 997 turbo cab for clear days and fun roads and my a3 tdi for the grueling commute and northeast weather. Borrow my parents escalade esv in deep snow. Sometimes it's hard to decide to leave the turbo at home

GT3 and the E550 4matic, the GT3 is obviously a weekend fun car and the benz is a daily driver. It's comfortable, cheap to maintenance, and looks great.

Why not a Panamera 4s or GTS. I also will be trading in the M5 for an all wheel drive winter vehicle and the Panamera GTS is in the works.

why change both cars at same time ?

since u own the 997, lease a SUV of ur choice at this time(for 4wd and towing) such as a Cayenne or the new SUV from Range Rover..

when the thrill of the new car is gone (in a year?), trade in ur 997 for a sport car of ur choice, such as 997.2 GTS, 991, or even a gt3.

icon of luxury sedan: S-class
icon of [usable] sports car: Porsche 911

I guess that means: AMG s65 and 911 Turbo S

For safety/practicability and fun factir:
Audi A8 W12 and Boxster Spyder [sic]

....and then my wife just walked in and says "Bugatti Veyron and Pagoda SL"

hard to argue with the wife

997 and E-Class Benz Wagon. I'm a geek, I like station wagons.

Seriously, I really liked the Benz wagon I owned and would like to get another. You can't fit the wife, two children and two German Shepherds in a 997. Well, at least not comfortably.
