God I miss the PCH. It's the perfect backdrop for sportscars in America. Congrats, I like the range of your garage.

Thanks! Here are a few more pics. Figured you guys would appreciate a pic or two of my recently restored (by me and my 12 year old) '71 VW

And of course, a nice patriotic pic of my new gal's backside.

The black tips are very nice. I'm looking at putting Fabspeed Maxflow exhaust on mine, with black tips. I think the Fabspeed price for the tips is a bit high...so I'm looking at maybe taking my stock tips and have them powder coated flat black. I would like to have a satin shinny finish, but don't know if I can do that since there is a lot of heat back there!!

anyone have thoughts on that?

anyone powder coat their tips?

Here are a few before and after pics. I'll just use links so I don't get flamed for posting VW Bug pics here.

Car looks great. I was up in Malibu this weekend tearing up the twisties myself! I picked up an '09 C2 CPO back in November.

I have a quick question:
I love those wheels. I am planning to pickup a set in black for my white c2.

With the lowering of the H&R springs and the more aggressive offset of the BBS wheels, do you have any issues with rubbing? I was literally looking at this exact setup.

Thanks!

New to me 2009 997.2 C2 CPO (until March '15) with 21k miles on it.

H&R Sport Springs (lowered 1.2" Front and Rear)
BBS CH-R 19" Wheels

I'll come by Topanga on Sunday. Come check it out.

I've had no issue with front or rears rubbing the wheel wells. Even hard cornering hasn't been an issue.

Now the underside of the front spoiler has been a bit of a pain. Minor scraping on steep driveways.
