Grinning Newbie in 997.2
Took the 997.2 C2 out for the first time yesterday through Malibu Canyons. Rt 23 down to PCH, a few photos near Point Mugu, and back up Rt 23. I don't think I wiped the stupid grin off my face for the rest of the evening. Big ups to the 5 or 6 drivers who pulled over on Rt 23 to let me by.

Thanks for the nice feedback. I suppose I should provide some detail on the car.

New to me 2009 997.2 C2 CPO (until March '15) with 21k miles on it.

H&R Sport Springs (lowered 1.2" Front and Rear)

Car was great fun yesterday on the twisty canyon roads. Beyond enjoying the cornering and accelerating in and around town over the past three weeks, this was the first time I really had a chance to hammer through the gears in sport mode and get a feel for how balanced the car is. Just was smiling through each and every hard turn with the car responding back at me saying, 'ah come on, is this all you got'. I was a happy camper.

Congrats, looking good. Ah, the PCH. I've thought that when I get a 911 I'd trailer my car somewhere to the West Coast, take a vacation and just drive a long stretch of the PCH and anywhere else in the neighbourhood.

Very nice!!! Love the rims...those are the type of rims I want for my 4S. I love the Carrera rims, but would rather have that style.

Now all you need is to flash that ECU and you will be smiling even more!!

I'm taking my car on the Calif. Coast next month....Santa Cruz mountains...will post pics of that day as well.

Awesome pics! The drop makes the car looks so much better. Been up and down PCH but never Malibu Canyons. Very tempting now after seeing your pics.
