It all depends on the style. Mesh works in both dark and lighter colored finishes. This is particularly true for the white and black 911's. Anything other than that like red, blue, green, yellow, looks best with brushed aluminum and lighter color finishes no doubt about it.

 

Not a fan of black wheels on any color UNLESS they are offset by a polished rim (like the original Fuchs Porsche wheel). Completely black or dark wheels resemble a test mule and are FUGLY IMO...........

 

Funny, I've never been much of a fan of the P40's, but they look absolutely stunning on your car!

 

Hey thanks joe. Appreciate the complement, already the modern look is growing on me.

 

A benefit of the modern look, it seems that i can feel the lighter wheels on the car. Maybe it just in my head but ride over rough roads seems better. And there seem to be more stability with the slightly wider track front and rear.

Wow I need exactly this, my car is white and I was thinking of buyin avantgarde rugermesh on black and even they sent me a picture of a white car with black wheels and black side sticker look very nice, I think that charcoal color or graphite is a modern touch without going to much on black ones. And yes is a nice thing to change for now and then of looks I do that to myself I leave the beard for two weeks and the y shave, why not do it on our cars!!
