What stiffer rear swaybar options for 997.1 C2S?

Hi there

Had all my GEO setup on 997.1 C2S, got GT3 front arms and the car is at -1.80 negative front degrees camber, so turn in and understeer has reduced nicely.

The rear is set to -1.75 negative degrees camber with 25 minutes of positive toe on the rear and the front is set to neutral toe.

I also change the bars, front has a gen2 2010+ GT3 bar set one from softest and the rear has also the gen2 2010+ GT3 bar which is same as GT2 bar set to softest.

Problem is with rear GT2 bar its too tail happy, even at corner entry. So I've put the old C2S bar back on and the car is great, but a little too much understeer, though better than its being prevously.

So what options is there between the C2S and GT2 bars? Is a C4S bar thicker/stiffer than a C2S bar or what about a 997.1 GT3 bar?

the GT2 rear on softest setting is too tail happy?? you can try tightening up the front. or maybe look into TPC bars. i have a set on my '06C2S and havent looked back since.

Do you know how thick the C4S bar is compared to the C2S and will it fit?

Bars are a good idea. Usually best to buy from the same source to get a pair that works well with front/back.

Ideally a 997 suspension should have about .5 more negative camber in the front than the back: 2.0 negative camber front, would want 1.5 degree negative camber in the rear.

I have a 997.1 C2S with GT3 LCAs and -2.5/-2.0 alignment and H&R bars set to 2nd softest setting and it is very nicely balanced. I wouldn't change a thing.
