Just bought a used hardtop for my baby on Flea-bay at a great price. The paint is a bit scuffed up from it being moved around on the wrong rack, but the interior and glass are "excellent." I spoke with the seller on the phone, and he seemed very open, and honest. I'm having it sent directly to my body shop to have it re-painted immediately anyway, so I'm not concerned about the scuffs as long as the substrate isn't dicked up.

I've been quoted $400 - 600 to have it re-painted at the local Benz shop. Does that seem about right to those of you who've had the same thing done?

Always perfect job, might want to see what they would charge.
