How much is CPO worth

Considering a car than has 19 months warranty left. They want 2K to add Certified Pre-Owned. Wondering if that's about right or is there room to negotiate. Have them down 5k off asking price.

Sounds about right

I debated the CPO on my C2S and bought a fidelity platinum warranty (comprehensive) for 4 years for about $2500. It was highly recommended by the service department at my Porsche dealership, and the advantage is should you sell the car prematurely, a portion of the warranty is refundable (I got about $1300 back after sale of my car). I recommend getting the comprehensive CPO inspection, and if the car would qualify, than you know it is a solid purchase, but you can get very good warranties with longer coverage for less dollars. That being said, my 911 Turbo was a CPO and it was fantastic coverage as well. You can't really go wrong, but I wouldn't own a 911 out of warranty despite their fantastic reliability.

They are selling car as CPO but I offered 5K less than asking, they were willing to do that but with no CPO. Car has a little over 15k miles and is a 2010.

Sometimes CPO includes new tires which might be worth the extra $2K/

I think the extra 2 years of coverage is worth the $2K, but would try to get it for $1,500.

Certainly everything is negotiable. The price sounds good. I have the CPO and the piece of mind of knowing that I can go to any Porsche Dealership and get service. I have used the CPO warranty twice in the last year corner markers screwed up and the Radio/PCM went bad. They gave me a loaner (2012 Cayenne for the weekend) Everthing covered under warranty. It easily covered what I paid extra for a CPO from Porsche.

Got the CPO for 1750.00 and new to me 2010 911S sitting in garage. Total of 3 yrs 9 months warranty with the addition of CPO. Pics coming soon. Has sports exhaust which I'm not too sure about being a seasoned traveler (old guy) :)

Looks great!! Your gonna love it. The sport exhaust sounds great too. It is not too loud in the car but sounds great outside. You can always go stealth and turn it off though. Have fun and enjoy your new car..

Great car and good deal on the CPO- I think you will like the sport exhaust too.

Breeks 11-04-2012 09:39 PM

how did you add the PSE
Previous owner must have ordered it when it was new.

I have had the car for 30 hours.
