Even as a salvage that would be a good deal barring some huge mechanical problems. I've spent more than that on mods!

When I was searching for my C4s I was looking everywhere including Auto Trader. EVERY P car I called on in Auto Trader was BS. None of the phone numbers were good.
Quick story. Saw one car looked like a great deal at a great price. There was a name and a number. Could never get through on the number. BUT because of the nature of my work I was able to track down the name. The guy was very nice but stated he has been getting calls for a week about a Porsche he has never owned. He also stated he has no idea how AT got his name but that the number associated with him was definitely not his. SOOO I say the car is BS.

Scammers...

Yeah....it is a scam. I went through this when i was looking for my 997 and selling my 370Z. I saw an C2S at a great price and emailed the person. Asked them all the right questions, but didn't get a warm fuzzy with their responses. Seemed canned so i googled the responses and they were the same responses that people were questioning for other cars. It's not only private, it's dealers too...They use a dealers name then on the picture it says to only contact them by this email address.......Yeah that doesn't send a red flag....I try and flag them as much as i can.

For the 370Z i put it on a few sites to sell and someone cloned my pictures and tried to sell it. Thats's why i didn't put the VIN or License Plate number.

Have never used Autotrader for anything but as a way to check availabilty and market prices for specific types and model years of cars on a national level. If the cars they are advertising don't exist guess any info I gather is worthless.
