Tigerbite84 is infamous around these parts
I don't notice the change!

I just put on the Fabspeed Maxflo mufflers and had a Sporttronic ECU flash. I couldn't tell too much of a difference? Anybody else?

I'm hoping to get the sport cat to get a better flow for the exhausts. I heard that helps.

2011 C4S, I had the Maxflo and the X-pipe installed. It's sounds much louder and throatier after I put on about 2k miles. After 5k, I think it's even better!!

I think the OP was talking about power improvements.

A set of mufflers offers no real gains on a normally aspirated engine. You will see some improvements with high flow cats (200 cell). I also found that a light weight flywheel offered some nice performance improvements, but it also increase the noise a bit.

Have Softronic ECU Flash and noticed a smoother power delivery. Fister mod on cans provided all the sound I needed. Half the price of new cans.

I had GIAC tune and aftermarket exhaust on my S and it didn't feel any stronger . I eleven dynoed the car. It made 301 rwhp. Sounded better though.

I could definitely feel the extra punch when I exchanged exhausts, essentially across the rev range. Seemed to free locked up hp...definitely revs quicker. Now my rear tires are getting a little slippy so the extra power is not as welcome (combined with slick Texas roads and lower than ideal ambient temps).

Most see/feel no appreciable difference from an exhaust change other than volume. The engineers at Porsche know how to get the most out of these cars and a bolt on, after-market item will result in very little other than draining your bank account.

Ease up John Denver... I know I spent 35 hundred bucks on a Maxflo and X-pipe for a few decibels and probably no power gain, but man I like the sound and think it looks bad!! Maybe I'll get a nice stripe down the center of my car...

Dude (said like John Denver), you asked the question. Which is why I spent $200 for the Gundo - and the same result.

No story. Just a little personalization. It's also highly visible at the track.
