997 S strange issues regarding interior buttons and nav screen
Of the 4 buttons on the lower console from left to right (spoiler, shock, sport, and PSM off), only the button turning the shocks "on/off" is working. No check engine lights, no error lights, just these 3 buttons are not working.
Also, the nav screen color is slightly off and the image looks slightly distorted towards the edges. This doesnt happen all the time, but just wonderign if there is a common cause for this.
Any idea where to start diagnosing the cause of these issues? I am new to the 997 body style. THank you very much.
P.S. I bought 3 different brand batteries to see if a slight change in voltage was a possible cause. The car acts the same with all 3 batteries.

Not really sure about the Nav screen, did it get wet by accident ? I would check to make sure the combination switch contacts were making a good connection first, I have seen them fail before. If that's the case your going to need a new one, 99761313900FMH if you have Sport Chrono or Sport Chrono Plus, or 99761313100FMH if you have Sport exhaust. Thanks for the help. where are the contacts? behind the trim panel? How would I remove that panel to see the contacts? Also, The car has sport chrono, how do I tell if its sport chrono plus? It also has an aftermarket exhaust. I just dont want to buy the wrong part.
Both side panels come off, and that gives you access to the PCM and the switches. Search for PCM removal to try and find a DIY guide and get a good idea of where the screws are. If the car has Sport Chrono, then 99761313900FMH is the correct switch. It would also be a good idea to check all of your fuses before you dig too far into it. I believe the only difference in Sport Chrono and Sport Chrono Plus is that the Plus allows you to save lap times on the PCM, and save lighting and personal convenience settings as well. Either way, the part number for the switch is the same for both.

do you happen to know what fuse it is that controls that? It seems strange that the button for the shocks still works, but the other 3 dont. Thanks for being so helpful!! Let me know if you know what fuse it is.
these would be all of the fuses in the driver's lower kick panel by the clutch pedal, right?

I'm not exactly sure what module your talking about. There is a thread that has a pretty good tutorial for removing the console panels. Once the side panels are off, it's pretty obvious how to get the switch panel out. To view that thread Click Here.
