Routing Battery Charger Lead

I have the one that plugs into the cigarette lighter. Question is where do you run the lead into the car so the wiring doesn't get pinched? And I really don't want to run it through the window with it open unless necessary.

I run mine right over the driver side door sill. There is plenty of space that is normally filled with the weather stripping/gasket. Therefore, the wire is not pinched.

Same here. Have been doing it for 12 years with the same Ctek unit on two different Porsches with no issues to the charger, the door, door molding, weather stipping, scuff pad, etc.....
