Just wanted to say hi as I am new to the forum and recently purchased my first Porsche, a 2005 C2S. Its all stock for now, but that will change soon! Looking forward to sharing updates as I make them.

Congratulations and welcome. Beautiful car. Don't worry about rushing to mod your car. They are great cars in stock trim. I am on my third 997 and all have been, and will stay stock.

I was looking for about a year. It was hard to find something in my budget that had everything I was looking for (997, S, Six Speed). It had 64k miles, which was a little higher than I wanted, but it's ridiculously clean and had all the service records.

 

I'm not thinking anything to crazy to begin with. In the next few months I want to upgrade the Navigation to a touch screen unit, as well as add the LED tail light conversion. I have a lot of reservations as to modding the engine as the price for horse power options are not that appealing. It seems to be about $5k-$7k in exhaust, intake, and tuning to only get about 30hp.

Do you have any good recommendations for a mechanic? I'm in the Marina.
