GT3Tek lip on 997.1

Hi,

I recently bought a GT3Tek polyurethane lip for my 997.1. Wanted to get some input on people's experiences with installing this thing. The kit comes with 8 screws and the instructions indicate that you simply screw the lip onto the bumper.

1) Do these screws ever come loose and fall off after awhile? Normally I expect there should be a nut to secure everything together but in this case there are no nuts supplied.

2) Do these screws eventually rust?

Thanks!

If I recall, there is some 3M automotive tape attached to the lip. The screws are in addition.

By the way, the lip on my avatar is a GT3Tek

Thanks! How is your lip holding up? Are the screws still all properly fastened? How long ago did you have it installed?

Put aquarium sealant on yhe threads when you screw them in and over the screw heads when you are done. Won't budge and won't rust.
