GTS 3rd Radiator Question

GTS 3rd Radiator Question
Couple of questions:
1) I have 2012 GTS with 6sp and no 3rd radiator - did the PDK equipped GTS's come with 3rd radiator?
2) I seem to recall that the 3rd radiator add-on for the GTS is different than non-GTS - maybe from the GT3 - anyone have info on this?
I'm finding that the GTS runs a little hotter than my 997.1 TT - in the TT I would rarely see anything over about 205 on a hot Texas day - not unusual now to see 220-225 in the GTS.
Thanks

3rd radiator
If you're interested, I have two 3rd radiators. I had one already installed, and then when I bought the VF supercharger, the owner gave me his center radiator.
Mine is a 997.1, but it looks like it should fit yours.

Let me know if you're interested. I was just going to toss all of my stock parts away since we moved.

Hey jh, would not think the 3rd rad for the gts to be the same for the gt3 as the latter one needs a smile on the bumper to work properly. I am more inclined to believe that the gts 3rd rad is the same for all the regular carreras. The question really is if the manual and gts side radiators are the same. If they are the same then a third rad should be easy to install, in addition, the kit for the 997.1 whihc steve is willing to give to you will really work!

Per Porsche's PET manual for MY2012 997.2 the center radiator is for option code I183 (super-hot country). The part number listed is 997.106.037.02. This is the same part number as the 997.1 series center radiator.

Not sure you had your question answered. Still learning about my newly acquired '12 GTS w/PDK, but it does have the third radiator. That is not listed as an option on its build sheet, so, assume it's standard.

Thanks - it appears that GTS/PDK gets 3rd radiator and MT does not. Also, I seem to recall that 997.1 X51 (no matter Tip or MT) got 3rd radiator. I wonder if 997.2 X51 MT (other than GTS) got 3rd radiator?

My '11 GTS MT6 does not have 3rd radiator. If I did not live in Phoenix I would leave as is, but I am going to install this soon as it seems it would be helpful whilst driving on the surface of the sun (Phoenix in July!!).

While not as hot here as in PHX (almost though you have a "dry heat"), I'm considering adding it to my 2012 GTS MT6. The GTS does run hotter than my TT.
