Just removed my tint today, on a sunny day in NJ, at a reputable place - a painful process to watch.

So far, no issues with windows - no more glares

defrosts tbd.

The film they put in my car was Suntek HP - same vertical glare with headlights.

Can you report back if the replacement tint solves the problem?

Sorry, they couldn't guarantee. So I decide not to replace with another film. Instead, I removed it (my prior post dated 10/15).

Mine was solar gard HP. A darker 3M film (eg 20% vs. 35%) could reduce the glare, but won't eliminate it. I think it's the angle of Porsche rear window that is contributing to this issue.

I'm done - I am just praying that they didn't mess up my defrost lines.

Good Luck!
