Hey everyone. I know this topic has been extensively discussed and I have searched quite a bit but still a little confused.

I have a base 997.1 c2 (3.6L non S) with the single tail pipe.
I know the 997.1 cs2 3.8L quad pipes will fit with the FVD adapter or a shim

From what I understand, the 997.2 pipes are the same width (both the 3.6 and 3.8). Could I use a pair of 997.2 cs2 pipes on my 997.1 if I use shims or an adapter? Or is there another reason aside from inlet diameter why it would not work? (such s being too wide to fit the rear bumper etc)

Yes, you can use 997.2 pipes with the FVD adapter on your 997.1
