Booster seat question Coupe vs. Cab

Hi Everyone,
Long time reader, finally actively looking for a 06-09 997. One of the things I can't fully understand from the threads is what does and what does not fit in the back for booster seats. This isn't my everyday car, but my kids love cars and it would be a shame to not let them ride with me when I can.

That being said, I went and bought a new Recaro ProBooster from Amazon:
Amazon.com: RECARO Performance BOOSTER High Back Booster Car Seat, Sapphire: Baby Amazon.com: RECARO Performance BOOSTER High Back Booster Car Seat, Sapphire: Baby

Here is what I can tell you so far:

Fits (Barely):
c2 coupe
c2s coupe
turbo coupe

Does not fit
c4s Cabriolet
turbo Cabriolet

Attached is a picture in I believe a 2009 c2s (not sure the year). I'm 5'8", and set the seat for me. In a perfect world, I would be back about 1 more inch, but that seems like it would not leave enough room for the kid's legs.

I went to the dealer today to try and fit the car seat, and noticed that the 991's have LATCH connectors in the back, even on the CAB's.

So, we went over to the parts guy, and sure enough he says they have car seats for the 991's, and that he has even seen them fit into the Cabriolet 991's.

I've attached the Part # and the picture from the catalog.

Can anyone tell me if this ProBooster I bought is the wrong one? Perhaps you guys are buying this model that doesn't have the cupholders, and may be a bit less wide? (Both models show up as the same dimensions on Amazon's website)

Amazon Amazon

Other question is has anyone used the new Porsche Factory Carseat (about $370 per dealer).

I would appreciate some pictures if at all possible.
My boys love open-air, and I'm willing the make the decision a Cab if I can make it happen. It's clearly smaller back there width-wide, but I would really appreciate some good details.

Thanks!

Anecdotally, I 2011 C4S cab, and it is a tough fit in the back for any car seat. Test drove a 991 coupe which had much more room in the back for booster/toddler seats. I suggest kids take their shoes off no matter what!

Yes, I can also say that the same car seat that I tested will not fit in the back of the Cab due to the extra width on the sides I am assuming as part of the roof system.

Somebody must have bought the Porsche car seat on here I am hoping.

Thanks

Maybe this will help. I have 6 child seats. The best fit is the previous model porsche, but my girl thinks the recari is much more comfortable. I'm 5'9" and my wife is 5'4" and this is a 997 cab. I alternated the seats so you get a clear picture. not much space behind the driver's seat regardless.

Thank you Thank you Thank You!
I figure 997 Cab's were out since so far I haven't been able to fit anything.
Looks like I may have the wrong Recaro Probooster.

I'll try to get a smaller one ASAP.

Thanks Again!
