It is my daily and I cover MD, DC, Northern VA, and PA for work. Need I say more :) At least my job pays for it pre-tax...

I had a new water pump installed at about 7k miles. Other than that it has been perfect.

So your the one that made me come in on my day off to help Rhonda with 997 clutch questions :D
Evan
PS- 2,000 miles are the 997S and we have a noise from the left rear... Could be as simple as a rock in the caliper or wheel bearings, will find out next week when it goes in for service...

RMS isnt an issue with 997s, and no probs thus far on my 06 S with 1200 miles....knock on wood.

997s seems to hold up better than my old Turbo and Turbo S and 996 Cab

someone i know had their 997 RMS fail at 10k miles, so it is still an issue, maybe just not as bad as it was on the 996 models

2500 miles on mine, no probs engine wise at all!

I sold my 05 997 with 10,500 miles (I ordered an 06 997S Club Coupe). After I had the NAV installed, my car reported multiple system faults and the cruise control didn't work. It took two tries to fix it, but I never suffered from an power train issue (electrical only).
